Renpy my beloved...
Get ready for a long post, I've got a lot to say.
to begin with, It's currently in my top 5 favorite games from this jam, I loved it.

There is polish everywhere, even for things "less" important like the main menu or the credits.

One of the problems I have with a lot of amateur VNs is is that they are sometimes a little too timid with the staging of dialogues.
You get around this issue very elegantly. Between the animations and the zooms, the sprites are bouncy, the characters are lively, and it's a delight to follow.

Obviously, we're talking about a VN, so the story isn't left behind, and it works very, very well. It's well written, well thought out, and the different choices intertwine nicely. I have a lot of respect for the work that went into the subtext. In a game where you spend your time questioning others, I never really felt like I was being gratuitously bombarded with exposition. These characters know each other, they've been through things, and it's up to me to figure out what's going on. They're not going to spell it out for me, and that's normal.

On the other hand, you can tell that this is a group project in every sense of the word. I understood that the characters were inspired by your DND characters, and it shows x)
They may be a tad too colorful, and I wouldn't be surprised if the game has a couple of inside jokes.

Honestly, I'm a little jealous. I've been wanting to write a VN based on the concept of doppelgangers for a while now. I didn't expect to see it in this jam, let alone one so well done ;-;

GG, it's great, and the soundtrack is wonderful too.
