Just played it, This was  fun. The animations are so good! I had the most fun with grappling

I do have quite a bit of suggestions/improvements that I think will really help

Movement:

  • It would be cool if dashing down slopes added momentum,  it doesn't seem like it affects down momentum at all
  • Jumping when going fast up-hill doesn't do anything (Paige does jump but the horizontal movement makes her land instantly). I suggest changing the jump height depending on the speed when going up slopes
  • I think bubbles should reset the double jump. Once you've used it and bounce on a bubble, you can't use it  until you land on the ground first
  • It would be cool if dashing down slopes added momentum,  it doesn't seem like it affects down momentum at all
  • Double jump should have a buffer. Trying to double jump when close to the ground starts charging and then gets cancelled when I hit the ground


Visual:

  • Camera is too zoomed in, It should be centered just a little above her so you can see where you are going (especially up hill). (Additionally, maybe add camera settings so people can adjust to their liking?)
  • Visual indicator when Dash is ready
  • Random Idle animations would be cool
  • Paige's hair and antenna should react more to the wind maybe

Other:

  • Dashing into pushable boxes to speed up would be nice
  • Maybe a small amount of speedlines/wind trail when Paige dashes to spice it up a bit

Overall, This game is very promising and I look forward to the final game (and another demo if there will be)! Good luck with the game and congrats on the funding!
