I love seeing other Godot games! I also enjoy a good tower defense game. Nice use of assets, and clever upscaling of the KayKit Skeleton Warrior model. Really good music too. The menu and recolor of the TV was an ingenious little menu.

The camera only showed top half the level which made the game, which made it very frustrating to play. There were also no sound effects, and hearing the pain of your enemies as you vanquish them is one of the satisfying parts of a tower defense! It also felt a bit unbalanced.

I'm also not sure why you didn't do a web export. It's really easy to do with Godot. It would probably get more people playing your game.

Overall a solid entry and would be a lot of fun with a camera fix.

Thanks for the review, you can move the camera with WASD; I should probably add that to the description.

You definitely should. I tried clicking and dragging, middle mouse button and dragging, and the arrow keys to try and move the window. I did not think to try WASD.

Ok I played it again with WASD to center the screen and I beat all the waves. The game is much better balanced when you can see the whole screen and place towers strategically. Very nicely done.

One additional thing I would recommend is making it clearer where towers can be placed. It seemed random and unclear what was a good spot. There was even one place where I could put it in a boulder.

I updated my rankings for you based on this improved play experience.
