i really love how this piece starts and progresses! the jump in the start that clears the page and puts you in that surreal space the protagonist experiences is super effective and i enjoyed it a lot. i'm also very drawn to your portrayal of lost connections and longing, the moment with the stuffed animal resonated with me a lot.
unfortunately, i kept hitting some dead ends that kept me from going:
- looking at the blue box for a second time
- after trying to achieve acceptance and having selected all the options
that being said, i'm also kind of grateful for them because that means i get to go back and try out other things that reveal more. i'll give it a few more tries to see if i can get to an ending because your writing is strong and has me hooked. ^_^
