I think they get emulated because of the steam compatibility software I'm using. Unfortunately because it's emulation it creates its own terminal instead of using mine, but.. surprisingly functional for something not designed for it. I hear the background hum and the radiation, so I think sounds are working fine... not sure if I should be hearing anything else but I haven't beaten it yet.
