By tying the purchasable upgrades to the upgrade screen, I've gotten to a point where I've bought all weapon upgrades, ran out of money, triggered the upgrade screen and I can no longer select anything, but cannot seem to exit out.
Same thing. At level 26, the game is unplayable for me. A simple solution would be just increasing the coin amount/value over time, than the game will be infinite.
