I've had this page open a tab for so long and I'm so SO glad I've finally played the demo. It was an absolute delight to play. I got sucked into the world so quickly!
The ambiance of the game is so comforting that it makes the moments of Akine's grief feel all the heavier. Her regrets are so understandable it's easy to feel for her. The moment when I got a glimpse of heartbreak in her youth? That reverie was small but so impactful. I love Akine's resilience and how much she believes in herself and seems to be having fun with this second chance.
I can't wait to see more of her story unfold and get to know Shimon better. Plus I love a good cleaning mechanic and being able to bring life back to the environment.
