hi mate i seem to be unable to open any of these games except for NEW! mr pence. ive tried a lot of things to get them working still to no avail. they boot up for like two seconds and then immediately close themselves

if theres any way you know of that could help with this issue id massively appreciate it. cheers

What OS are you using? These games were made with The Games Factory, which is ancient software from the 90's, so it may be an incompatibility issue. It might also have something to do with the opening videos used in the other Mr. Pence games, as I recall NEW! Mr. Pence being one of the only games that didn't have an opening video. There are remasters of Mr. Pence 3 & 4 available on MFGG which were done in Clickteam Fusion, so they might work better than these.

i'm using windows 10. i did figure out they were made with the games factory through testing with them for a bit

mr pence 1 doesn't have an opening video yet that one crashes too... ill probably just play the remastered versions of 2, 3 and 4. as for 1 and 5 i'll see if i can get them working with a windows xp or vista emulator. are there remasters/alternate versions for those ones? if not that's okay

cheers for the response btw i didn't think u were still active here. your stuff is really influential to me and my brothers

Mr. Pence 1 & 5 are included in the "Museum of Mr. Pence" remaster collection alongside NEW! Mr. Pence, all of which were made with Clickteam Fusion. I should warn you though that the Mr. Pence 2 remaster was made with TGF (I believe it was the only remaster made with it). Now that I know you were using Windows 10 I'm not entirely sure if it's a compatibility issue, I used Windows 7 at the time I made most of these games, and the last time I've attempted to run them in Windows 10 they seemed to work fine on my end. Either way I'm afraid there isn't much else I can do about this.

thanks for the info! i managed to play through all of the games here through virtualbox on a windows xp emulation and had a great time

ill definitely play the remastered versions. i've tested them and they all seem to work fine on my base OS

again thanks for the help
