peace and love, this has got to be the most incomprehensible game I've ever played. Unless this is supposed to be an intentional dark soulsian "figure it out yourself" kind of experience, having to click around on every inch of the screen to figure out which parts of the UI are even clickable let alone the correct one to click on before soft locking myself into a fail state is kinda bad. Also, the clicking and dragging feels dreadful. There's no feedback whatsoever to make it clear that what I tried to put into an empty space didn't take because it's the incorrect option and not because the component or tool just didn't feel like going in the box.
It might be a personal preference but also all the extra text added at the beginning in these recent 0.1.4 versions just makes everything even more esoteric somehow even though they're now literally explaining what to do. It's an odd choice but I'm not even sure how to fix something like that.
All that to say I love horny fairy stuff and I want this to be good. Keep it up!

Hey, thanks for the honest feedback. It is really useful at the early stages of development. Would be very cool if you could give some more details on the specific menus/mechanics you found the most incomprehensible (preferably on Discord). This way I will know what to target in the next updates.
I get quite a lot of similar opinions and I'm puzzled myself on how to make it feel better, but I think we will get there eventually. I plan on adding more highlights (like with tabs in the book, when you actually can see the highlight upon hoover of the mouse). Also at the start of the drag of an item it might highlight the slot where you can actually use it. Another thing I plan is to cut the unnecessary drags, like in contract menu you will just be able to complete a contract if you have correct potions in inventory. Maybe some more sound design that will indicate mistakes and stuff like that.
Initially, there was this "figure stuff out yourself" kind of idea, but I already cut a lot of stuff by giving all the recipes and potion ingredient details, tooltips etc.
