Hey Fishleteer! First of all, i'm very happy that you took your time, downloaded and played my game.
1. In fact, i thought that it is a cool mechanic - gameplay is not at least a bit harder. To help with being stuck there are types of attack (available on 1-3 keys), and they strike to the left or right (depending on the selected one).
3. Yes, to my next projects i will definitely try to add some sound, as i am aware this helps to set the tone.
4. I'm not really sure what you mean - those extra steps do not happen to me i think - maybe you have found some bug that i didn't catch.
