Just because the rules say that medicine cats can't have kits, that doesn't mean that some medicine cats in the books and other related games have broken this rule. Leafpool is a ThunderClan medicine cat, and she had kits with a WindClan cat.
btw you can have a kit if you fully trained the med app (and milkywillow broke the code i think)

she had a kit before she turned into a med, it says in the code that it dosent matter if you've had kits or a mate before you became a med
