My opinion is there's not enough sellable stuff to find, making for a slow progression slog running back and forth. May just be a preference thing, but it's my 2 cents. Like the concept though, and it ran well for me.
I think as the game is now, more objects to find is enough, just to pick up the initial pace. (Maybe even just padding the upper levels to get the progression ramp rolling faster, then when you get deeper they're more rare but you have the mobility to still enjoy hunting for them?)
More diverse objects would be nice in a later version, but for now I'd say it's unnecessary.
