Maybe my expectations were too high but I don't know. I played all levels and win before making comment cause it would not be fair to judge before experiencing all. Game feels like it could get a lot of quality of life fixes. like just holding the mouse istead of broking your index finger (mine still aches). you could get stuck at walls when trying to move diagonal. also attack patern of bosses are not much playable, they are not hard to doge but you can't avoid them if you try to use sword. Seems like most people used arrow and run away but I prefered the sword cause it deal way more damage and fight and quicker wether you lose or win. It feels like gambling cause only thing mathers is which attack enemy gonna use next whilst all you could do is spam attack and dash. also if you try to instant changes in angle befora dash it not registers so you need to move that direction atleast 0.1 second or something like that in order to dash to count.
I like the art style of the game, it has its own unique characters which is pretty good too, but it feels like game is made for the characters. What I mean is characters have a lot of love and effort in them but game play not has the same amount of love.
over all I would give it a 8/10. I also not like to criticise without suggestions. I would say increase the damage dealth by enemies, make mouse holdable when using sword, make a indicator for enemies when they about to attack (the could shine or something), and make player untargetable during dash and let dash go through characters, I believe it would make game less spamy and more timing based. But in the end it is just my suggestion real important part is having fun whilst doing it the way you want.
