This looks great, but I have no idea what i'm looking at.

That's what I was afraid of. Could you be a little more specific? There are tooltips in the game for this case. If you don't understand something, you can hover your mouse over the object and wait a moment.

I read this part and clicked the link.
"First-Time Setup Recommendation: If this is your first time installing, I recommend using Stability Matrix to test which backend works best for you."

Seems like there is a lot I have to learn to get the functionality out of this, I just don't want to right now. Or maybe it just seems like a lot.

You're right. Installation will take a long time, at least to download the model (6-7 GB) and the programs themselves (~3 GB or more, I'm not sure). This is more for people who already have one of the image generators installed. This game is more of a concept exploration.
