also like the others below me said, this was beautiful from start to finish! heron my love <3 also throughout this entire story i was reminded of Anthem by Ayn Rand again and again(don't know how no one has mentioned it already lol), alongside the Giver, 1984, Fahrenheit 451, and others. beautifully well done!
