I don't see the slightest possibility of this getting a "lot of" positive messages as you said, not even from those unfamiliar with classic adventure games, much less from those who do.
Maybe your idea was to make a classic, old-school adventure game, but you failed and made a dull, purposeless, and buggy game.
I'm also very much in favor of AI in the world of game development and I believe it will come to help us, especially indie devs, as long as it is used with care and effort, which you didn't have, just look at the start menu, just an AI image in the background with a lot of text without any care on top.
Maybe you put more effort into the programming and gave less importance to the visuals, but that would be a good excuse if the game worked. I tried countless combinations, clicked on almost everything, and nothing worked.
I'm sorry, but I'll repeat what the other user said: you should think a little before making a game.
