Your game is so cute! The design is so beautiful. I wish it had more levels. Be sure to continue making this game. Well done to you both <3
Thank you so much :D We're so glad you enjoyed it!
We're definitely planning to add more levels and content in the future.
Your support means everything to us! 🔥
I really enjoyed this game! The visuals are charming and the overall atmosphere feels unique and engaging. Wishing you lots of success in your future creations!
Thank you so much! We're really glad you enjoyed it! Really appreciate you taking the time to play and leave such kind words. Wishing you the best too, and thanks for the support :D
I really wanted to play this game but it seems my anti-virus has some serious beef with it. (is it only me?)
From what I can read though, it really reminds me of "Brimstone" that was made for Ludum Dare 49 game jam with the same theme "Unstable". Really enjoyed that game, I'd probably enjoy this too :)
I'm not sure what's causing the antivirus issue, but I hope you were able to get it sorted and try out the game! :D
And yes, Brimstone was absolutely one of our favorites from that jam! We loved the concept so much that we wanted to put our own spin on it. We went for a different visual approach with pixel shaders and dynamic 2D lighting to create more atmosphere, and added some quality-of-life features like a dash mechanic and polished movement controls (coyote time, jump buffering, and all that good stuff). Really tried to make the movement feel as smooth and responsive as possible while keeping that chaotic fire-spreading gameplay we loved from the original!
Thanks for giving it a shot ! 🔥
Remixes are always welcome as long as they deliver quality, and I'm sure yours does too. Congrats to your team :)
