I’ve been really enjoying My Soldiers and have completed both Cade and Thomas’s routes so far. However, I’ve run into an issue where none of the achievements are unlocking, not even the early ones like “Meeting Kevin.”
Here’s what I’ve tried:
Played through two full routes (Cade and Thomas)
Uninstalled the game and reinstalled it on a different drive
Deleted the Ren’Py persistent data folder from %APPDATA%\RenPy\
Verified game files through Steam
Started a brand new game afterward — still no achievements
Steam is online and functioning, cloud sync is enabled
Despite all this, no achievements are popping. It feels like the achievement system might be broken on my install, or something is interfering with the triggers.
Would appreciate any help or confirmation if this is a known issue. I’d love to keep playing, but I also want to make sure achievements work as expected.
