I honestly never thought a short five minute game could have such a powerful emotional payoff but this one proved me wrong. The story is next level, and the way it interprets the “Death is an opportunity” prompt is pure genius. The atmosphere is spot on. I spent most of the playthrough confused, not knowing what was going on, but every moment was leaving puzzle pieces for that final, devastating reveal. Tackling such heavy and vulnerable themes isn’t easy, but it absolutely paid off. Phenomenal work. btw I love the silent hill vibes!!!

A interesting game with some nice visuals and 3D modelling. Overall a good experience. Nice work :)
Interesting game - loved the visuals! I do think a little bit of context is missing here, but overall it's great, keep it up! <3
Interesting fun little game, although It felt a little unnecessarily depressing, it could work with a bit more context and MEAT in a full game, but it felt like trauma dumping. That JUICY voice acting was very nice for my earholes. Very impressive for 5 days🥩😊
I really love the models and character design. I'd love to see a longer game come out of this
the concept is really interesting, but commiting suicide to do acts of good leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. i can see what you're trying to portray with the end being like 'we're still useful even in our darkest moments and after them', but i think suicide may not have been the way you should've gone with this. i think there's a huge opprotunity to twist it into something that doesnt have suicide be the final answer to do acts of selfless good, but thats just my opinion :3 the visuals were wonderful and i enjoyed the whispers and the eerie atmosphere!
Thanks for playing the game! The concept came from one of our team's personal experience and struggle with depression. An unfortunate and ugly truth is that some people can't fight those demons and make it out the other side. We could have possibly made a slightly better distinction that the message after the fade to black was the more important one that we want people to remember. Regardless we're glad you enjoyed the game overall!
i would strongly agree here, i watched the play through video and the visuals where really good, sound design and voice acting are great! But the story didn’t make me feel good in terms of the ways it can be interpreted. It makes me a bit worried for certain people that are struggling who might miss comprehend the message of the game with the ending being ending herself. I did like the concept of taking parts of her energy/self to give to patients to help them.
the polish! omg! this feels so fished! and good! so clean! the ending wasn't prefect but id love to see what you make in the future!
I rated you :3 you should check out my game too if you want
While your final message is quite nice and am sure you had good intentions, the characters faith contradicts it. The main character was left to believe that her only worth was in death and that is just not the message I can't get behind as someone who struggled with depression and trauma for most of my life. Suicide should not be the means to do something good or make yourself worthy through sacrifice or be viewed as a valid option/solution. That is a terrible take and a dangerous message to put out there.
Thanks for playing, the game does tell a tragic story, but it is not a tutorial for life, a lot of people choose to believe that this is their only option but no, that's what the game tells in the end, this is not a solution and you are worthy of life. I think it's a great message to put out there, especially seeing how many people connected with Sarah and felt bad for her.
I think what he’s trying to explain is that depression is a spectrum. And as much as people don’t want to admit it, there’s not always a happy ending. And while we push the message that you are worthy and useful, some of us will still feel otherwise.
Sarah’s death was abrupt and without a lot of explanation due to the lack of time. And while her death was tragic, it’s real. Not all of us make it through the darkness.
However, the message I gave at the end is to tell others that this doesn’t HAVE to happen. We are enough as we are.
I really hope this helps. Thanks again for playing our game. 💛
