Cute game I will say! I like how the game starts out with muted colors when playing as Inara, and bright colors when the adventurer. It was hard to download on the Itch.io app on my computer, had to go through the browser on google to download it, recommend maybe trying a ZIP File (Edit: realizing it just be my application giving me grief, it isn't just your's). I noticed during the Inara fight that Inara's necklace was still equipped, when I tried to use it, it did nothing, which is how I died. When I did the fight again, I started at 1 hp. Beat her my second playthrough and noticed that I got Inara's necklace again.
What I recommend is after the option to try again, add the recover all block before it loops back, and you can remove the necklace when Inara's story is complete, maybe add some text to the necklace when the player observes it in the key items menu. Overall, not a bad first game, good job!
