Thanks so much. This is my first ever game jam entry, first 3D game, and first attempt at horror. So really glad you liked it.

The lantern not dimming completely is by design. I had originally intended it to go out completely, but I wasn't able to find a decent ambient light setting that would allow the player to just barely see in front of them, so went with the cheaper approach of a not-quite-dead lantern that gives you a meter or two's visibility.

A few people have mentioned to me now that the first key is too hard to find. I may have overdone the complexity of the first maze a bit. It's very easy to end up going in circles around the 'room' the key is in. Sorry about that. 

I do agree with you, and Ascents, regarding the ghost. I didn't quite get her behaviour right. Most of the times you see her she's just there to be scary. Only when your lantern is dead(ish) will she actually chase you, though that is still not guaranteed. And definitely a bug that she stayed where she had previously caught you, guess I hadn't catered for that scenario.
