I like the choice of ambiance for the track. I think, using the harpsichord, leaning into more harmonies would be good along with developing the bassline a bit more. The i - bVII - bVI - V progression is nice. I think exploring this progression and making it a bit more unique would bolster the atmosphere you have now, especially since the piece is, in a way, built off of this progression. I also really like the picardy third at the end.

I had about three hours to write and record this, so I’m happy with how it turned out. In the piece, I’m simply doing counterpoint on the Andalusian cadence, so the chords themselves are pretty irrelevant. Not to mention, there are two more upper voices of counterpoint that I didn’t have time to record. I submitted this five seconds before the deadline, was hilarious.
As for the lute, I’m not a lute or guitar player; I just got it a few days ago. I’m doing what I can, haha.
