I agree that there are quite a few birds present in this track - they do distract a little bit from the beautiful ambiance you have going on. I think it'd be cool to change up the tempo a bit as well. That could be a possible way to add some tension and maybe a new section without steering away from the genre too too much. I could definitely hear a melancholic melody over the guitar line!
