I'm currently playing your game, I'm at the "You need to leave some digital trash behind", I'm not sure what I should do, I deleted some files I dont need, doesnt open the gate, tried deleting files in the recycle bin doesn't work either

So you have already solved Jack's puzzle, nice!:) I dont want to give away the whole solution, but it is not a coincidence that the rectangles have subtitles;) This is a heavy toll...

Finally finished it, I have multiple storage and the game only looks at C:

it also requires you to permanently delete them to proceed, not just in recycle bin

Yeah it only counts the disk where the game is installed. The time was short and this was the fastest way the get the info by Godot...
