Right off the bat got hit by an error that popped up and required me to abort the game:

After a restart and another try, I was back in business. The visuals and audio here are fantastic. Really polished and beautiful. I found the action to be a little too fast for me, and the lack of checkpoints made it difficult for me to sustain any progress. That said, I think you've got some really fun gameplay mechanics here; I'm grateful for the videos you've shared so that I could have a sense of what those were before starting. With a gentler difficulty ramp and some timing changes, I think you've got something really special here to build on top of. Thanks for making and sharing your game!

First off, its an honor for a developer of your caliber to try my humble game, thank you for taking the time!

I have addressed that error, a small oversight that occurred whenever trying to use Spell Blast in the title screen. 

It is indeed fast paced! A conscious decision, that with mastery, can result in some very impressive action. But for this level, I do understand that beginners may struggle. Though I can end the game level with 20 hearts, I also realize I have played it hundreds of times and am the creator haha. In the full game, this will be level 2, with a kinder tutorial level preceding it to ease players in to the mechanics.

If you ever felt the desire to return to Wicked Boy, make sure you download the latest build (updated almost daily) and know that you can spam your Time slow ability endlessly! Can help give you a lot of breathing room when facing enemies or spike hazards. There is also a new Gust spell that is unlimited and useful for unarmored enemies when you run out of spell charges (up arrow on keyboard, or hold R1+X on Xbox controller)
