I've purchased some chickens and a rooster, but it's saying no suitable male is available? Any ideas?
Are you using Realistic Livestock or EAS or both or just base-game animals?

Maybe. It shouldn't, because the rooster with my animal.xml is not renamed or modified.
If you really want to use RL, just change back in the map.xml the address for animals. See my Riverbend Springs tutorial on that.
