It's a very good Clicker game. I enjoyed my time with it quite a lot. I esecially appreciated the artstyle and the dramatic shift of atmosphere around the end.
After around 4 playthroughs and almost maxing out every ability i would like to leave some feedback.
Equipping the Miners can be very frustrating. at first i assumed, that already equipped Miners can't pick up Items they already have. I was wrong. I wasted several Items on greedy miners that wanted to hoard them all. With multiple miners and a high speed it becomes really frustrating upgrading the specific miner you just want to upgrade.
To add to the Miner issues. It would be great if there was some kind of overlay with which you could see how many miners you have, and who has what equipment. Finding the one miner that needs new shoes when everything moves and a bunch of numbers fly around the screen is very hard.
The lower blocks become unreasonably hard once you reach them in further playthroughs. The Upgrades to miners and clicker don't multiply well with the hardness of lower blocks. You invest several thousands into upgrades that barely change the speed. The lower blocks also dont give you more money, so youre just stuck waiting for the lower blocks to finish so you can start your next run, because due to the speed, the higher blocks are way more lucrative.
After you max out and fully equip your miners, the resources become fully obsolete. There is no further use for them. Maybe it would be a good idea to be able to sell them for money or have more Items for your miners you can use them on.
I understand that this is just a demo. I'm not critiquing it as if it were a full game. There are just quality of life suggestions what would be nice to have when youre working on your full release.
