I think the concept is good, but a little confusing at the moment. Maybe you could try a new interface design, with the machines smaller so everything stays together in the same spot.
Also, using an RGB palette might be harder than working with just red, blue, and yellow for mixing colors.
That said, it’s definitely a good idea and could turn into a really fun game. Right now, though, it feels a bit hard to get started.
