night 4 is like impossible, there's way too little battery, no way to stop freddy from moving, and foxy takes away 15% power the first time she hits the door

edit: also there is no sprite for freddy at the east hall corner so there's no way to tell she's about to attack you other than counting laughs/knowing where she was beforehand

for Freddy, her gimmick is that she attacks on the 5th laugh, once you here her laugh close the door till you hear another laugh, after that she will always be close to the door. I.e: 5th laugh you close the door, she laughs again (6th) you open the door, she laughs again (7th) you close the door and repeat that alternately pattern, for foxy try to just listen to her run to try and save as much power as possible or you can look at her in the cams before she runs to buy as much time

I played this about half a year ago and it was not close to this hard. I did this "pixel perfect" runs, and the closest was 4 am with 20 power.  No cameras at all and only going with sound. Foxy came 3 times and 3th time was at 4 am. Completely drains the power every time. Honestly dont see how this is even possible due to how consistent every time 4 am and foxy drains the last few % of power. Unless you get some amazing RNG which i didnt get my 4 good out of 7 runs of this.

I had the same problem a long time ago, still made it to custom night before I got a new pc. but from what I can tell it was nerfed to not be so aggressive with foxy, it also seems like she doesn't do as much power drain but still enough to be a threat

The games not fully released yet so it might be lacking on the difficulty scaling at the moment

it would be better if dev just overhauled the whole gameplay into something more suitable for its genre tbh. the fact that the gameplay itself is just a carbon copy of the original game is bad enough, the fact that the copying itself isn't well done is just the cherry on top.  It feels like downloadable art with a placeholder game attached to it. I think there's a midpoint somewhere where the game is actually just "fnaf but with sex" but while still being beatable and done in a way that makes you more horny rather than requiring you to actually focus instead of enjoying the point of the game in order to get the full experience.

That or just say fuck it and have a cheat code so you never have to actually try to beat the game to enjoy it and can just fuck around without having to deal with any make it to night 5 bs. though even still there's also the problem of Freddy being way too persistent way too early on for no reason.

Why do you even bother playing games if all you're going to do is whine about them when you don't get everything that you want?

Just as a head's up: if you want porn so badly, there's websites full of the stuff. It's literally an entire industry.

Why do you bother reading comments if all you're gonna do is whine about them when you don't get everything you want?

That's the thing; you have no idea what I want. I didn't respond to you because you don't agree with me or anything like that, I'm responded to you because your post largely consisted of "This game doesn't fit my expectations! Change it to play how I want!" like a child, crying for a toy.

Furthermore, I find it funny that the only response you can give is a word-for-word repeat with a slight deviation on what I already said - it's almost as if you're not actually able to think of a response that isn't just parroting the last thing you've heard before. Looking back on it, you could've actually come up with a good retort, but instead went with an argument of hypocrisy. (And a poorly made one, at that.)

If I were responding to my post, I would've said something along the lines of, "I am criticizing this game because I want it to be better," of course I'd include a bit more flourish, but that's what I'm dumbing it down to. It would clearly be an incorrect point, as proven by the "carbon copy" comment you made earlier (something of which could have been put more "nicely" if you were going to respond with the argument I suggested), but it would at least be more easily defensible than what you came up with.

If you're going to act smarmy, at the very least, please be clever or witty to some degree in your replies.

You actually live on the internet man, no fucking way. Get a hobby that isn't berating random people online for positively criticizing something, please. For your own health.

Do you need me to write in three letter words and only write in sentences to keep you from working your little brain a bit too hard? First you actually have to be able to think critically (I know that's a big word for you!) to be able to argue. Then, you need to be able to come up with an argument and go about using it efficiently. (Another big word, you might want to look that one up.)

Once again, if you're going to act smarmy, at the very least, please be clever or witty to some degree in your replies. Being a smartass without the actual intelligence just makes your confidence seem misplaced. While you're at it, actually addressing an argument outside of "wow you type too long" is generally a good practice for making any reasonable comeback.

Also "positively criticizing", LOL. Yeah, sure, buddy. I've seen constructive criticism and your post ain't it. Move on to the next point.

From everything stayrt criticized, i have to admit that the game design is indeed a problem. From night 4 and onward foxy just shows up on a very short interval of time. That wouldn't be a problem if foxy didn't took so much energy everytime i block her with the door, Its around 15% iirc, but that's a lot. It's barely enough to survive the night, and extremely difficult even with the freddy hint of hearing the sound cues. It takes VERY good RNG, which is a shame because i liked the fangame a lot...

I'm more than willing to admit that the game does have balancing issues, as you mentioned - there's things I definitely would suggest changing for the devs, like the 15% power hit with Foxy and some of the audio cues (specifically ones with Freddy come to my mind) could be timed better.

But just to note it for a variety of reasons, one of my primary points I made while arguing with them was specifically their attitude and how they phrased things. I don't have a problem with people criticizing developers if they're doing it in a fair manner, but saying "this game is too hard, it needs to be changed because I want it to be" is not the move on several different levels.

Developers of any game, especially indies, are fundamentally people and should be treated as such, hence why I went in on stayrt so much and for so long. Programming a game is insanely fucking difficult, letalone making the assets and audio and other stuff for it, so I'm admittedly going to be a bit defensive when I see a game that I'm kind of fond of, which is made by a small number of people on their own time and with their own money, is getting shit on by someone that at best doesn't have any kind of real experience in how games are made.

Devs (for various reasons) typically can't and generally shouldn't go and say shit in comment sections (like this one). I also think that it's best that devs don't ever interact with the community outside of some very particular situations, as they can often be extremely toxic and insanely vile. Look at even the best fandoms/communities surrounding a vast majority of most pieces of media and you'll almost instantly see what I mean. Because of that, I think it's best for communities to self-police, like with what I am attempting to do in this comment section.

I'd say that some of what stayrt was writing was definitely toxic, however they also were putting effort into criticizing it. (I'd like to think they were looking to give criticism that can be used to better the game.) I also understand the want to see something good be improved - but again, taking the most hostile tone online isn't the play here, for a variety of reasons. As a rule of thumb, I most often approach using internet forums (or comment sections like this) as if I'm interacting with actual people. If someone, like you for example, is being reasonable, I'm more than happy to respond in kind. If, on the other hand, there's someone just spewing nonsense, then I'll oblige them in kind and jump down their throat, because like I said previously, devs are people, and they read the comments and reviews of their games. If all they see is anger and vitriol, it kinda makes them not wanna engage with the community, and that's pretty sad to see.

If I remember correctly, an example of this idea can be seen with MrDrNose - he (I presume they are a 'he') is a developer of Voices of the Void (one of the more popular games on Itch.io) and he mentioned previously somewhere that one of his older games, Advanced Education with Viktor Strobovsky, stopped receiving updates for several reasons, but one of the less immediate reasons being that he was getting frustrated with people comparing his game to Baldi's Basics. Admittedly they are similar in some minor ways, but there's quite a few obvious differences, and being compared to something significantly larger and getting people whining about this or that being too different to BB eventually led to him getting tired of working on the project. Maybe this is "stupid" to some extent, but it also doesn't change the fact of the matter that people don't like getting shit on, even if it's through written (or typed) word. Think about No Man's Sky, as another example - don't you think the people working on that game got kind of frustrated with developing it because of how everyone online was bitching and moaning about how much it sucked? It's a miracle they kept developing at all on that game, because the hatred for it was fucking EVERYWHERE. It was hatred that might've been deserved to a small extent, but if I had someone commenting things like what stayrt was saying every day about my work, I wouldn't bother working at that job. It'd be exhausting.

Anyway, I'm not really writing all of this for you per se, stppd - I'm moreso writing it for anyone else that's reading it, because I'm actually really sick of seeing people just talking shit online 24/7. This kind of thing is why the internet is and pretty much always been a cesspit of arguing and whining - everyone is just typing without thinking about how the other person(s) might feel. I would like to see some degree of civility online. Obviously this won't be likely to change anyone's attitude, but I'd rather make a call to action that goes unheard than not make the call in the first place. Maybe it does actually change even one person for the better. I'd hope so.

Anyway, I think of my little ruleset as Newton's Third Law but applied to internet discussion. By that, I mean to "treat others as you are treated." If someone's being civil, be civil back. If someone's being a little shitty, feel free to be a little shitty back. If someone's really being a prick, admittedly it's probably best to block or ignore them if possible, but it's not out of the question to be as equally of a prick in kind. Long as it doesn't exceed the bounds of the internet, it should be fine.

Ok, anyway, I expect a 500-word three-paragraph thesis, double-spaced and turned in by this Wednesday. Class is dismissed.

I have no idea what that might mean, but you do you, boss.

the way to stop her from taking 15% is by initiating her run by looking at the cam then shut the door. She will do 1% per hit so you only lose 3%. I learned this within minutes of my first playthrough

Almost like people lead different lives and that just because you have an experience doesn't mean everyone has that exact same experience. I learned this concept within 4-5 years of living.

Thanks for the tip, though.
