I am dealing with the same Abby vanishing. When I originally put her on the testing chair she literally shrunk to barely being able to see her. Then i did the discomfort test,she spoke for a second then poof gone.. i looked all over. Did the highlight everything option,and still no where to be found.
So, if no luck finding her i will most likely have to restart from the beginning?
I am sorry to hear that this is happening to you, it is a really annoying glitch. It happens because of the size of the doll, that gets set when they spew out, is not as fast as your FPS, so it "saves" the size in a tiny form. It is bad programming from me, that I fixed now, but the version has a long time before releasing.
It is strange that you cannot see the doll, even after highlight all items. That usually means that it straight up does not exist, as the icon is not dependent on location or size.
Restarting the game (the run) could solve the problem, as the size alternation happens in a specific tick, that is racing your FPS. Again, horrible code by me, for which I apologise.
You don't have to restart the whole game.
My advice would be to change your FPS limit. If that will not work, I am willing to send you a save file, and instructions on how to put it inside your game, that skips Abby. If you want me to do that, let me know, and I'll send you a file here as soon as I am able to.
