If you actually cared about the game you'd be glad they're doing whatever they can to ensure it survives, not being pissy over $25. If you want someone to complain about, direct it where it's due, your deluxe lost it's value because of some crusty old Aussie karens, not the devs.

If you want to keep the ecosystem that allowed you to get what you had, how about directing your anger towards productively fighting the people trying to destroy it rather than those caught in the crossfire with their livelihoods on the line who you paid 1.5h of your time, or even less than that if you make above minimum wage?
