Hi, bought this in steam, I was doing a full anti-virus scan. When I was notified this game has a Trojan virus. You might want to look into this. I also have Fresh Story 1 in steam and my anti virus did not find any on it. If it helps the anti virus that I use is Kaspersky. Hope you are able to sort this out. I'm posting this here as I don't know how to contact you via steam
Hi! Thanks for letting me know about the antivirus warning.
This isn’t actually a virus — the problem came from the latest Ren’Py engine update (version 8.4.1). For some reason, Kaspersky started falsely flagging it and any games built on it.
I tested it myself and confirmed that if I build the game on Ren’Py 8.2.1, the warning doesn’t appear at all. So I’ve rebuilt the game using that version and re-uploaded it (including on Steam).
Everything is safe, and you can play without worries now 🙂
