After playing through, my guess is it's a coincidence, but it also may have genuinely helped me connect to the game lol. Possible spoilers, but the luck offerings in the first study session chapter had me thinking about everything I left Athena during my time at Bryn Mawr. Percy didn't have to do anything to convince me, I've already been there and done that many many times lol
