Great feedback and I totally agree. I noticed the same thing when playtesting with others, but since the base project we received already had this behaviour and I had a bunch of other stuff I wanted to create, I left it as is. Whoever graded it didn't seem to mind, though, since I still got the highest possible grade.
I only posted this for archival purposes, but I'll be sharing more games soon (both old and new), so keep your eyes peeled!
