Hi it's me again! I decided to check this page again to see if there were any new updates and low and behold there was! So I downloaded the new version immediately! LOVING the new skirt options! I've already made 3 dresses with it! Can confirm it would take that much fabric IRL to make this kind of skirt. It's essentially a ballgown.
I do have a couple suggestions for some kinks to work out, but first, THANK YOU for making the red dot bigger for the sewing mechanic! Now I don't have to strain my eyes to look at and focus on it anymore! And thank you for adding the zoom in option on the mannequin! Total lifesaver when adding the lace onto this dress.
- And thank you for adding proper seem allowance instead of having the sewing line right on the edge of the fabric! Makes it much easier to navigate and way less anxiety inducing. As well as much more accurate!
As for the kinks i mentioned,
-On the new tiered skirt, some of the pattern pieces when placed on the grain correctly don't fit onto the fabric all the way. The bottom edges of the pieces poke out over the edges of the fabric, therefore not allowing the player to cut the pieces as all unless placed incorrectly and having a lower grain quality. I found this happening with the Right and Left pieces for Ruffle Tier 1 and Ruffle Tier 2, specifically. You could either slightly shrink those pattern piece, or change the grain direction of those pieces a little to fix that.
- on the 3 tiered ruffle sleeves, I noticed the fabric on the 3rd ruffle tier clipping through all the other ruffles a bit at the shoulders. Idk if that was already there before and I just didn't notice it, but it's very noticeable if you use a combo of light and dark colored fabric and use a darker color on the 3rd sleeve ruffle
other than that, no notes from me! This game just keeps getting better and better with every update!
I can't wait to see how much more this game improves over time!
