Awesome! I got it working. It was the little step @9:52 of changing the filepath from gdm to png.
Final issue I am having. I'm getting Error: Using too many distance textures. Maximum allowed is 255. Is there a way to fix/increase?
Personally, I am only doing a partial install and have removed ones that are not of interest to me and gotten under the limit.
Unfortunatelly, the work-around I used is to have them all toghether in the same folder instead of each crop folder and use the same texture for multiple crops (grass distances for grass, clover, alfalfa, silphie etc..)
