It is not your keyboard, it is the game: if you say hold S to speed up falling and while doing it press say Left Arrow, the last button will be registered and the S will stop repeating, until you press it again. A downside I know about. What do you mean by “win the snake side”? It is not possible to win the game, only to get more points before loosing, a sad reality :) You might try tactics where you avoid snake easting apples as long as you can, so it is easier to control it. But still eventually all the field will be in apples. Every 8 second – new apple. And yes, the snake has a ticking sound (like ticking bomb) – that is intentional :)
