I have been in a pretty deep depression so sadly progress has been excruciatingly slow but I promise I am working on it, it just might be a while. T-T

I have a tumblr where I try to post about this and my other projects, there's not much on there but if you ever have any questions about the story or characters I can definitely answer them over there! Idk if that would help with the wait but it's the best I've got rn, sorry. I have a lot planned for this story and chapter one sets up a lot of that. I have like four different routes for MC's living arrangements alone which all add different flavor text and introduce different characters. I am also terrible at coding, I am very much a writer first.

I promise this story will happen though! Undertale is such a big deal for me and this story is basically all of my self indulgent fantasies shoved into one project lol. I really wish I could've gotten something out for the tenth anniversary. Actually I do have some art I had made by a friend for the main monster cast that I could ( and have been meaning to) post. I also made some (admittedly kinda bad) portraits for the main six human characters (cuz I needed more of a cast than just Frisk, the monsters, and MC haha) so those exist too I just need to actually post them.

Oof this reply got long, sorry about that. This was supposed to be a simple answer and instead turned into a whole update.

If you want to talk about your depression and whats bothering you can talk to me , if you feel confortable to share that is.

As for the art yeah id like to see what art you have, who knows maybe ill even make a fanart of it.

I’ll be okay, I have bipolar and bpd as well as just general depression and that mixed with current politics (I live in the US) have made things rough. My depression hasn’t gotten this bad in like a year or two but I guess things just compounded. :,)

I am very fortunate to have lots of support around me in the form of friends and family, who are all very understanding. So I’m definitely not alone in all this and that helps a lot.

I really really appreciate your interest in this game. I was so unsure about it when I posted the demo. I’ve only ever written original works and only recently(as in last year) even got the courage to post those, so this was a big step for me. But seeing people excited for this makes me so happy and hopeful.

It may be slow but I will make this game happen. I love it too much and am in way too deep to give up now.

I will definitely be posting the art soon, it’s so so cute. My artist is wonderful and a close friend. They have this really soft chibi-esque style and it’s so wonderful. She’s currently working on some more of the characters, like Toriel and Asgore + some others who I didn’t ask her to do originally since I didn’t want to overwhelm her and I figured the main routes were most important.

There is something I’m still on the fence about with this story, and while I will probably make a poll on Tumblr at some point, I keep putting that part off haha. It would be a fully optional thing and admittedly add more work but this story is about different types of relationships so it would make sense to include but I’m worried how people would react to the concept and if I even have the skills to write it. But I am definitely going on a tangent now and overthinking it lol.
