Personally I think it takes a lot for a person to deserve death, I don't think Kirk did, I do think he deserved to get his teeth knocked out and his ass beat for being a constant jackass.
But the thing about death is it's a permanent state, a person who is dead can't grow or change, they can't become better people, as long as he lived there was a chance he would have become a better person one day, now that he's dead that can't happen.
His life will and s going to be boiled down to political talking points and thats all he will have amounted to.

Okay, I didn't think I had to explicitly say this but, I DO NOT SUPPORT PUBLIC EXECUTIONS regardless of that person's opinion's. My fault for assuming that would be obvious.
To answer your next point, the person advocating for gun violence towards children and spearheading violent hate campaigns towards minorities (and profiting off of it) CLEARLY wants to and is capable of learning to be a better person. Right. Makes sense. Look, if you want to contribute something meaningful to this conversation, fence sitting isn't the way to go about it.
