I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if there is a high learning curve to get the high vertical jumps to work right. Perhaps it's an equipment thing. If the tuning in the code is too precise, I wonder if keyboards with different polling rates would respond differently. Or perhaps there is input latency messing something up for me. Or perhaps I'm just doing it very wrong. I personally lean towards implementing a more forgiving input system. Perhaps implementing something like an option such as coyote time or assist mode would make it more forgiving for people who share my experience. Either way. You've made something. It looks like a complete experience. It's an accomplishment and you should be proud. Keep at it.
