I downoaded v.0.995 for The Promise game and paid $2.00. The apk will not install on my android tablet, had no problem before and I have lots of available storage. The message said There is a problem parsing the package. I have tried third party apk installers and tried to install on another device, same message.

difficult to say because nobody else has reported this.
But perhaps this can help:
- Ensure the APK file is fully downloaded. If incomplete, redownload the file from the same or a different source.
- Enable installation from unknown sources by going to Settings > Apps & notifications > Special app access > Install unknown apps, and toggle Allow from this source for the app you're using to install the APK.
- Update your Android version by navigating to Settings > System > System updates, and install any available updates.
- Disable any antivirus software temporarily, as it might block the APK installation.
- If the issue persists, download the APK from a different source or try an alternative app from the Google Play Store.
