This is _NOT_ the final version. This is just the last version that was ever posted to itch.io. The dev continued the game off of itch.io, and after they left it - the community continued it. The linked discord should have info on the continuations. The latest maintained version of the game is called Fort of Chains: Galvanized. I'm not going to post a link here for it simply because people shouldn't be trusting random links posted in itch.io comments. But a simple Google search should take you to it.
