Greetings adventurers!

This marks the very first dev log for "The Bleeding Lands", a multi volume dark and high fantasy campaign designed for 5e. I’ll be using these posts to share progress updates, showcase features, and give you a behind-the-scenes look at how this world is coming together.

 Writing Progress

• Over the past week I've completed 4 new pages of adventure content, making a total of 24 pages of content now done, expanding the lore of the Bleeding Lands of and adding detail to one of its first major dungeons. I wanted to come here with some content already done to have something to offer so that I would have plenty of content for sneak-peaks ready to go 😜

• Began work on the "Monster Index & Character Profiles" and "(New!) Item Index)" which will serve as a quick reference for both unique monsters and the important NPCs, you’ll meet throughout the campaign, as well as brand new magical items, relics, and item sets that will be included in this story!

 Maps

• Finished 4 new maps, detailing key areas players will explore. These maps are designed for use at the table, helping GMs immerse players in the atmosphere of the Bleeding Lands while keeping encounters clear and dynamic.

 Creatures & NPCs

• Added 2 custom stat blocks, tailored to reflect the campaign’s unique themes of Night, Ice, and the legacy of the Bleeding One. These creatures will challenge players both in combat and in story.

 What’s Next

Looking ahead, I’ll be focusing on:

• Expanding the Monster Index & Character Profiles with more creatures and major NPCs.

• Building out the Item Index, where magical relics tied to the world’s history will be detailed.

• Continuing to write and polish the story arc, weaving these elements together into a cohesive first volume.

Hello Adventurers!

 In the past week I've managed to get quite a bit done!

•  Gotten started on a new Core Book for the first volume
  • New Class nearly finished!
•  Over 30 pages in total done for the module
• First of four dungeons nearly done!
• Patreon page set up

Roadmap going forward:

• Maps maps and more maps. Expect a few to be posted to the patreon fairly soon!

Hello everyone!

First off, I want to apologize for missing last week’s devlog. A save error with the document set me back a little, and I didn’t want to post until I had things fully back on track. Thank you for your patience!

The good news is that the first chapter of seven for the module is now finished, and work has already begun on the second chapter. That brings the module to a total of 40 completed pages so far.

On the worldbuilding side, I’ve also made progress on the Thaelyn Core Book, which now sits at 11 completed pages. This book will serve as the foundation of the setting, giving players and DMs lore, factions, and mechanics beyond the adventures themselves.

In addition, I’m excited to announce that a brand new playable race has been added to the module! More details on that will come in a future preview.

Finally, map lovers will be glad to know that 2 more maps are now complete, adding even more depth and flexibility to the adventure. Once I complete the maps for every area in the first chapter, I'll release a small map pack here and on the patreon!

I’m excited to share the first official map pack for The Bleeding Lands!

This collection includes 13 high-resolution maps covering a majority of the key locations you’ll explore in the upcoming module.
