I love this demo and was sad when I ended up finishing it. It is something that I see myself having a lot of fun in the future ( if the end has a free mode or a free mode to make things for fun that'd be awesome, I've spent waaaay to much time just making random dresses)
Some improvement/ideas :
- I'd like for when you are designing the dress that the tags (casual, gothic, elegant, ect) would stay after the tutorial. I know little to nothing about designs and I believe it would help (they can leave once the design is cut out, but while making it I debated a while on what was considered elegant for one of the dresses)
- When sewing- a voom in feature. I feel like it is a bit too far out at times, especially on longer skirt pieces.
- this might just be me, but I'd like something to tell me if specific fabrics can/cannot be used together. Silk and velvet get used together in one dress but nothing say not to use something or you can't/shouldn't use certain fabrics together (not sure if this is actually important of not as I know nothing about fabrics, but I think it'd be neat and fun).
- when doing colors in the sketch, I'd like fabric swatches of owned/in shop so I could colour the sketch to somewhat match what I'd like to do (or be able to have the swatch fill in the spot on the sketch)
- when sketching the dress, can we do the back as well? Some patterns I don't realize that some of the fabrics I use wont match up and the back looks different then how I'd hope/doesn't match what I thought I was doing.
- vests- not sure if this is something that'd be in the full game but I wanted to put a vest on one of the dresses because I thought it'd look cute.
- when sewing light colours- the bright green/cyan guide kinda hurts with how saturated it is, would it be possible for it to be a dark colour?
Honestly, you guys are doing amazing and this was so much fun to play. I can't say when I had some much fun with a game.
