if you want bf to be a lover you can click his name and click talk you can propose to your bf
Talk to him/her about sex in his/her room after 18:00. Is this what you mean?
im having a similar problem in one save where the bestfriend's gender doesn't match the sexuality selected for the character at the start of the game
