I love this game! I have been looking for a Minecraft competitor for months. This, by far, has refueled all the love I had for Minecraft and Terraria and combined it all into this game. I love that you can place blocks and transform them, rather than wasting resources on crafting them. I love the fast-paced progression system, which also requires you to invest hours to fight the first boss. I love the gimicky items you can find like squeeky toys, dice and basketballs and i have a few questions i hope you can answer.
1. Will I be able to keep this character when and if player customization comes into the game?
2. When the game releases on Steam, will I be able to transfer my character and world(s), because I would love to keep these early worlds and characters. it would also be such a flex if (and when) the game becomes big.
3. I really would like to see a multiplayer where it's not reliant on the host, where you can get a list of joinable servers or something, so that the multiplayer experience isn't too buggy.
(for example. making it public or private and needing a code or having tags for different type of experiences like modded or casual ect.)
thank you!

Yes. I’m going to try and keep worlds and characters playable on new versions. I can’t make a guarantee in case something big changes with the formats or the way the game loads worlds/characters. But I think there would be enough people who want to do that to justify me spending the time on making a world converter.

Yes. The game currently stores save data in your Documents folder, so no matter where you install the game, the save data will always carry over. (As long as you are still using the same PC of course)

I’ll have to figure this out. I’m planning on using the steam multiplayer API. The top priority is getting joining friends worlds working, then once that is done I will work on dedicated server hosting. I thiiiink steam provides a server browser service, but I still need to do some more research on the topic.
