A "fake game" would be against itch's rules. Even if I get under the radar, I don't want to risk it, but it also wouldn't have any traction. An actual free game, like "Waifu's Love Room: Lite (Censored)", could be a decent approach, though. They also have rules against duplicating game pages, which means I would be walking a thin line here.

Are you on Patreon/Subscribestar? I thought that's where most devs went in the meantime... 

These platforms require more frequent update schedules, since they are subscription-based. I can't offer it. I'm considering selling the game on DLsite, though.

What about? You can still download the game.

DLSite is getting hit too, but I noticed they have alternative payment methods so maybe they'll cope better. Steam will likely find alternative payment methods, no way this shit'll be the norm. There's always Nintendo Store kappa.
