It means a lot to hear that the small touches like screen shakes and hit effects made a difference—I spent a good amount of time on that “game feel” aspect, so it’s great to know it paid off. I’m also glad you metioned the overheat system, it was designed to force a bit more strategy.
And that reward system for multi-kills is a fantastic idea! It would add a really satisfying layer of strategy and reward skilled shots, just as you said. I’ll definitely keep that in mind if I continue development after the jam.
