I think a solid 90% of the time I spent playing this game was spent laughing. Extremely funny VN I love the sense of humor on display here. Everyone should play Blocky Games immediately for their health. Thabk you
Have just realized reviews are not public so I'm also pasting it here:
Simultaneously extremely compelling and extremely funny. With just the 2 short chapters that have been released, I've already fallen in love with the cast. Please read hit VN Blocky Games at the earliest convenience.
I am so very in love with the humor in this game, especially the willingness to be a little crass with it. It is so hard to find toilet-and-adjacently-juvenile humor in stuff geared more towards young adult audiences, which is a shame because it really is funny!! Hit VN Blocky Games scratches that itch that I've been plagued by for so long. The visual comedy in this is also really good; big big fan of whenever the sprites do things that a human absolutely could not do in real life, like the floating off the screen and whatnot. In general, the more absurd elements of the VN's world, and the fact that they're usually barely or not at all questioned by the characters is something that I really love.
I'm also loving the speed at which information's being given to us so far; I'm SO invested in whatever went down between Roxie and Blythe, and the sort of drip-feeding of that tension that's been going on has been driving me bonkers in a good and fun way. I'd also love to know more about what the villain's deal is!! What's her problem!!!
The art in this VN is super cute and creative. I love it when drawings in an illustrated work's universe have a different style to how, like, the sprites and stuff are drawn. The character design goes crazy (especially with Roxie I love you Roxie); not only is the main cast really memorable and distinct from each other, but even the background characters have a lot of life in them. The professors' haircuts killed me on impact.
I rate this Really Really Good / 10
