I'm going to be very honest. As a straight cis male I tend to avoid all media that includes LGBTQ+ content, but this piece of fiction? It's much more than that. The storytelling is nearly perfect, characters are deep and enjoyable/hateable and problems explored here are surprisingly important and relevant for many people. I keep checking the page almost every day and can't wait for an update!  Thank you for your work!

Also, I noticed that people tend to dislike Morgana and like Arthur. For me it's kinda opposite. Arthur is by no means a bad person, but I sometimes can't help but think that he should grow a backbone, especially considering his position as a king

Making an account just to comment on this game is kinda based.

Arthur was a kid when he was crowned king at 14,

He's a timid soul and easy to manipulate because of who pulls the strings, it's not that he doesn't have a backbone but it's because he's easy to take advantage of and manipulate,

He's also a victim of SA, that really mentally fucked him over and filled him with disgust and shame apon finding out he slept with Morganna, his own sister, what would his people think of him? Worse than his father, and that put a lot of fear into him as well.

The age difference  as well, she was 17 and he was 14 when it happened.

and it doesn't help with how powerful Morganna is, she easily inflicted a curse apon him and made sure he wasn't gonna be having anymore kids to make sure Mc would be put on the throne.

Her abilities are magnificent from curses to being able to change the storms of the weather

And she's known for her temper and poisoning of those who she views as a threat,

Arthur has a right to fear her, she's a big threat regardless

I don't dislike him for his actions in the beginning of the story since he was just a kid.

I was more confused with his reaction on Accolon vs Lancelot duel. He said himself that he was so horrified that he couldn't do anything.  He is an adult person, a king, and he's been a king for 10 years at that point and is still unable to act under pressure. And even after the duel was over Arthur wasn't able to reprimand Lancelot properly.

Again, he is not a bad person. He just sucks as a king

It is significantly harder to reprimand or otherwise act against someone who is your closest friend and companion, no matter if you are a king or not. People commonly tend to hesitate and try to give their friend a benefit of the doubt in such situations.
